Limited Warranty

90 days of coverage on every device. Functional issues? We handle it.

The short version: Every device comes with a 90-day limited warranty covering functional defects. If something stops working the way it should under normal use, contact us and we will repair, replace, or issue a credit — whichever makes the most sense for your situation.

What This Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers hardware defects and functional failures that arise under normal, everyday use during the 90-day warranty period. The warranty period begins on the date of delivery.

Covered Examples

  • Screen becomes unresponsive or develops display issues not caused by impact
  • Battery health drops significantly below what was listed at the time of sale
  • Buttons, speakers, microphone, or charging port stop functioning
  • Camera, Face ID, or Touch ID stops working under normal use
  • Connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular) that are hardware-related
  • Any defect that was present but not apparent at the time of purchase

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty is designed to protect you against defects — not against damage, misuse, or normal wear. The following are not covered:

  • Physical damage including cracked screens, bent frames, or dents
  • Liquid damage or exposure to excessive moisture
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair or modification
  • Damage from drops, crushing, or other impact events
  • Software issues, iOS bugs, app crashes, or third-party software
  • Cosmetic wear (minor scratches, scuffs) that does not affect function
  • Accessories (cables, adapters) — only the device itself is covered
  • Devices that have been lost, stolen, or are locked to an iCloud account

How to File a Claim

If you experience a functional issue, contact us with a brief description and your order details. We aim to respond within one business day. In most cases we can diagnose the issue quickly over text or a short call.

Resolution Process

Once we confirm the issue is covered, we will work with you on the best resolution. Options may include:

RepairWe repair the device at no cost to you. Turnaround varies by issue but is typically 3-7 business days.
ReplacementIf repair is not practical, we will offer a comparable replacement device from our current inventory, subject to availability.
Store CreditIf no comparable device is available, we will issue a store credit for the full purchase price of the device.
Please note: The specific resolution (repair, replacement, or credit) is determined at our discretion based on the nature of the issue and current inventory. We always aim for the outcome that gets you back up and running as quickly as possible. Warranty claims do not include reimbursement for shipping costs, data loss, or incidental expenses.

Limitations

This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the device. ETW Shop is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. One warranty claim per device. If a replacement device is issued, the replacement carries the remaining balance of the original warranty period — not a new 90-day period.

Your Rights

This warranty gives you specific rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction. Nothing in this warranty limits any consumer protection rights you may be entitled to under applicable law.
